Welcome to St Georges Primary School

St George’s Church of England Primary School is a one form entry school nestled on the borders of Peckham and Camberwell. Situated right next to St George’s Church, we have strong links with our three parishes, St George’s, St Luke’s and St Giles’.

During their time at St George’s pupils work hard to achieve their full potential every day. Our Early Years Reception was recently graded as Good by Ofsted, and this is where we begin each pupil’s journey to success. Throughout their Primary School time as well as working hard they have annual trips to the seaside and exciting week-long residential trips within the UK.

The pupils at our school are exceptionally behaved and our schools values are a part of everything we do:

Respect | Achievement | Valour | Community

In September 2017 an interim Headteacher, Mr Rojas, who joined us as Deputy Headteacher in January 2017, was appointed to join our deputy headteachers, Mrs Wicksey and Miss Hales, in guiding our school in its improvement. As you can see from these fantastic KS2 results in July 2017, we are already on track!

Although we are a Church of England school, we are open to all and welcome pupils and families of other faiths and seven community spaces are reserved each year.

Our doors are always open to visitors and members of our local community so please come and visit us to see what exciting things are happening in this delightful, warm and friendly school, a hidden treasure in the heart of a vibrant and multicultural community.
